Dusty Rhodes Park Recreation Council is made up of a group of volunteers who are interested in helping maintain the park as an active/passive area as well as oversee, maintain, and improve the Dog Park facilities located within the park. We currently have 9 members. Membership is open to any interested Dog Park user, other persons who use the park, or anyone who wants to get involved.

The Dusty Rhodes Park Recreation Council meets the 4th Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Ocean Beach Recreation Center, 4726 Santa Monica Ave., 92107. Because of the holidays, the next meeting will not be until January 24, 2008.

We are now raising money to enlarge the Dog Park and make needed improvements. We are also planning work parties next year to rake, fill holes, and perform other maintenance jobs that are not part of the professional mowers responsibilities.
